Barrie resident Erika Fabiola Gomez Cruz has won big after playing the lottery for 12 years.
The healthcare worker scooped up a $62,248.10 prize in the Feb 8, 2023, LOTTO 6/49 draw.
Erika checked her ticket and was overjoyed to discover her win was true.
The 37-year-old mother says she plans to invest in her future with her winnings.
The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Ferndale Drive in Barrie.
LOTTO 6/49 offers two multi-million dollar jackpots every Wednesday and Saturday for $3 per play, as well as fixed and growing jackpots.
