The couple plans to pay some bills and save their winnings

News release – OLG

Anabell Alonso and Robert Pasquini of Beeton can “find their possible” after winning a LOTTO 6/49 second prize worth $104,392.30 in the Jan. 28 LOTTO 6/49 draw.

They also won $2 on their ENCORE selection, bringing their total winnings to $104,394.30.

Anabell and Robert, a common law couple and parents, said they’ve been playing the lottery together for about nine years. They like to play LOTTO 6/49, LOTTO MAX and DAILY GRAND – and always say yes to ENCORE.

Anabell says she checked their ticket while Robert pumped gas. “He passed me the ticket to check and jokingly said ‘Here’s our winning ticket,'” she laughed. “When I saw Big Winner, I started screaming! The clerk started knocking on the window to get Robert’s attention.”

“I saw Anabell jumping up and down and heard the screams. I went into the store and Anabell jumped on me,” he laughed. “I feel like a millionaire to get a break in life like this,” he said.

The couple plans to pay some bills and save their winnings. “We’re healthy and happy and so are the people we love. We have everything we need. But it would be nice to get a new purse,” laughed Anabell.
