Bell, Telus Follow Lead Of Rogers Offering Unlimited Wireless Plans – Sort Of
New plans come with a couple of 'catches'
Bell and Telus have announced unlimited cellphone data plans – a day after Rogers began offering the same.
Bell, like Rogers, is offering 10 gigabytes of data at regular speed for $75 a month. Beyond 10 gigabytes and “speeds will be reduced for light web browsing, email and texting.”
Telus is serving up 15 gigabytes for $75 but will tack on the usual overage charges if you exceed that amount.
The catch with the Bell and Telus packages is they are available for a limited time only. You have to sign up with Bell by June 30 and with Telus by July 2. Rogers has set no deadline.
