OPP investigating after bomb threat in Huntsville

It was determined that there was no explosive device

Provincial police are investigating after responding to a bomb threat at a commercial building in Huntsville on Tuesday.

OPP say they responded to the report on Old North Road just after 11:20 a.m.

Police and fire crew were on scene and the road was closed for approximately 45 minutes as a precaution.

The OPP Explosive Disposal Unit assisted officers, and it was determined that there was no explosive device.

Huntsville OPP is continuing this mischief investigation, and ask that anyone with information to contact them at 705-789-5551 or the OPP centre at 1-888-310-1122.
