Bracebridge OPP is investigating several issues involving alleged criminal behaviour by youth.
Between Tuesday, Jan. 27 and Feb. 2, officers have responded to several calls from fast-food restaurant employees who have reported being victimized by youth and/or young adults.
"The young people were harassing employees at drive-thru windows and in person, in an attempt to obtain free food and have further accessed employee areas to take selfies and create issues with the staff," police said in a news release.
Police also received a report about a group of young adults who attended a fast-food location and threw pizza at staff and engaged in more disruptive behaviour.
The suspects are described as being older teens and young adults, often driving an older silver Volkswagen car, a black Honda Civic, and a white Lincoln SUV.
Similar vehicle descriptions were provided to police, who received a report around 9 p.m. on Saturday about three young people walking on Manitoba Street and then Monck Road in Bracebridge, when several young adults, who alternated between vehicles, began following the trio and harassing them.
The victims told police about several dangerous driving manoeuvres that were made along with verbal threats.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information, in particular video surveillance in the area of Monck Road and Manitoba Street, is asked contact Bracebridge OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
