A second person has been arrested and charged in connection with an armed home invasion last winter.
South Simcoe Police say they were called to a rural property in Bradford on Feb. 23, 2022. Police say suspects stole cash and guns and fled the scene in a vehicle. Nobody was physically injured. A number of search warrants were executed and investigators recovered the stolen property.
As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old Collingwood man has been charged with over 20 offences including robbery, forcible confinement and weapons-related offences. Warrants have been issued for two additional suspects. In September, police announced they had charged a Hamilton man in the incident.
