Bradford Man Stabbed During Argument With Girlfriend
Woman Facing Assault and Weapons Charges
A Bradford woman is facing weapons and assault-related charges after an altercation with her boyfriend.
South Simcoe Police were sent to a Bradford home around 1:00 Sunday afternoon, where a 33-year-old man said he had just been stabbed in the leg by his girlfriend. The pair were arguing when the assault is alleged to have happened, while police say she ran off to hide in a neighbour’s home.
A police negotiator was able to talk the woman out, after which the 26-year-old suspect was charged.
The vicitm was treated for his injuries at local hospital.
