Bradford Woman Arrested Twice By Police

Taser among the items recovered

A Bradford woman was taken into custody by police twice within 24 hours.

On July 3rd South Simcoe police say they got a call from a shop on Holland Street in Bradford about a shoplifting suspect resisting arrest. Police say several items were seized including a taser. The suspect was charged and released on bail.

A day later police saw a post on social media about a theft from a vehicle in Bradford, two hours after the suspect was released on bail.

Officers recognized the accused from photos and she was re-arrested on a charge of Theft From a Motor Vehicle.  Most of the items stolen from the vehicle were recovered.
