Barrie’s British Arms Pub has been completely renovated inside and out. The English style pub has traditional old English country elements that play well with it’s modern finishes and eclectic menu.
Some would argue the fish and chips are the best in Barrie. While the interior and exterior underwent dramatic changes, British Arms are still serving up the same great pub fare they are known for.
Our Recommendations
Start with this. The miniature Beef Yorkshires are incredibly tasty and worth sharing (or not).
Greens: The London Cobb is a glorious salad. It’s the kind of salads you can be certain will fill you up and leave you satisfied
Try this: Food is deemed “a classic” for a reason. Try their staple Haddock and chips, served just as you would expect from an English Pub, it’s crispy goodness all around. Menu

Bridget is by far the best bar tender in Barrie. Always entertaining. Great service and great food. If you ever find yourself thirsty this is the place to go !)
