Bruce Willis is stepping away from acting due to a health crisis.
The 67-year-old has been diagnosed with Aphasia, a debilitating neurological disease that affects speech and comprehension, leaving the person unable to communicate.
His family announced his condition yesterday on Instagram.
“We are moving through this as a strong family unit and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him."
"As Bruce always says, “Live it up” and together we plan to do just that.”
The note was signed by his family, including his wife Emma Heming, his former partner Demi Moore, and his children Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel and Evelyn.
Willis has been in show business for 45 years, starring in classic films like Die Hard, The Sixth Sense, Pulp Fiction, Sin City, and countless others.
Reports say he had been fed his lines for his last movie through an earpiece because he couldn't remember them.
Country star Eric Church ditches fans for a basketball game
Country star Eric Church is cancelling his show in San Antonio this Saturday to watch Basketball.
That’s when The North Carolina Tar Heels play in the Final Four against Duke.
In a message to his fans, dubbed the “Church Choir” he explained he’s a die-hard North Carolina fan.
“To have them matchup in the Final Four for the first time in the history of the NCAA Tournament is any sports enthusiast’s dream.” he wrote.
Church acknowledged he is being selfish, but also defended his actions.
“It’s that same type of passion felt by the people who fill the seats at our concerts that makes us want to be part of a crowd at a game of this significance.”
A look at his Instagram shows his fans divided on his decision. Some completely get it, while others are not impressed.
Pop Star Tom Parker dies at age 33
British pop star Tom Parker from the group “The Wanted” has died at the age of thirty-three.
In 2020, he was diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma, an invasive brain tumor.
Upon his diagnosis Parker said he knew something was wrong but "didn't expect it to be this."
The young star leaves behind his wife and two children.
Glioblastoma is the same type of cancer that Gord Downie passed away from in 2017. It has one of the poorest survival rates of any cancer.
