Barrie Police Search For A Bandit With A Sweet Tooth

Crime is not sweet. Barrie Police are on the lookout for a bandit who made off with a bottle of Butter Ripple Liquor.

It happened on Thursday, December 19, when police say an unidentified man entered the LCBO on 55 Mary Street in Barrie at around 6:45 pm.

Police say he decided to satisfy his sugar craving and his alcohol craving with a bottle of the sweet stuff and concealed the bottle in his clothing and left the store without paying.

The suspect is described as a black male with a medium build.

He was wearing a black jacket, a black toque with grey fur-trimmed ear flaps and brim, grey sweat pants and brown boots
