Say what you will about the state of the country, a survey of 17-thousand people around the world has ranked Canada second in terms of best places to live.
Criteria for the U.S. News and World Report survey included agility, heritage, entrepreneurship, and quality of life.
Agility was among Canada's biggest attributes; Survey respondents found Canada “to be efficient in its actions, adopt and accept modern solutions, and progress to meet changing circumstances.”
In addition, “Canada’s expansive wilderness to the north plays a large role in Canadian identity, as does the country’s reputation of welcoming immigrants.”
Switzerland topped the list for the second year in a row.
