Car takes down posts and trees in Bracebridge
Motorist charged with impaired driving
A car ended up in the ditch on Fraserburg Road in Bracebridge, but not before knocking down two posts, some guardrail wire and multiple trees.
Provincial police responded around 12:30 p.m. Saturday when a member of the public called to report he heard what sounded like a collision. Police found a vehicle about 100 metres off the road.
A 23-year-old Burlington man has been charged with impaired driving. His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
