Carbon Tax stickers now mandatory on Ontario gas pumps

Fines waiting for gas station owners who don't display them

Some new reading material for you today as you’re pumping gas.

The Ford government’s Anti-Carbon Tax stickers are mandatory on gas pumps as of today.

Gas station operators can be fined between $500 and $10,000 for not having them in place.

The stickers show the amount of money the federal carbon tax adds to the price of a tank of gas. They do not mention the federal rebates offered to help offset the cost.

The Green Party has offered up its own parody sticker, pointing out what it believes the cost of climate change will be.
