Careless Driving Charge Laid Against Driver Sent to Hospital
Police Say Vehicle Ran Stop Light, Leading to Multi-vehicle Collision
Barrie Police say a driver has been charged with running a red light after a three vehicle crash in Barrie.
The collision happened a few minutes’ shy of 10:00 Wednesday morning, at the intersection of Essa Road and Anne Street in west Barrie. Investigators say a vehicle ran a red light, causing a collision involving two other vehicles.
The woman allegedly at the wheel of the vehicle that ran that red light was taken to hospital as a precaution, before being charged with Careless Driving.
