A spokesman for Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited told Barrie 360 in an email on Monday afternoon that plans to reopen have been halted in light of more regions moving into further restrictions.

The decision has since been posted to social media by the casino.
Last week, Rama First Nation Chief Ted Williams said Casino Rama was making plans to reopen, though he did not give a date.
Williams said there would no table games and no food and beverage service.
The OLG closed all provincial casinos and Casino Rama in March. Most gaming houses have since re-opened, but officials at Rama said it made no sense to start up when only 50 people could be inside the facility.
