Check out the Black Excellence section on Crave for Black History Month

a collection celebrating black filmmakers

February is Black History Month and for cinephiles that can mean catching up on all the amazing work from black filmmakers. Luckily, Crave makes it incredibly easy thanks to its Black Excellence section.

Celebrating every part of Black Culture, this section is divided into several categories including Excellence in Sports, Celebrating Black Comedy, Docs & Historical Dramas, Black Movies Matter, Black Love, and more. If you’re a fan of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air they even have a collection of “Essential Black Episodes” from the acclaimed comedy series. Looking for a few recommendations? Horror fans shouldn’t miss Jordan Peele’s sophomore effort Us and we think everyone needs to see the absolutely superb and breathtakingly beautiful The Last Black Man in San Francisco, which took home a ton of awards at the Sundance Film Festival last year.

So, what are you waiting for? There is almost too much to watch in the Black Excellence section so you’ll have to start now if you want to finish it all before the month is over!
