City invites fans to watch Canada’s World Cup match against Morocco

The City of Barrie is inviting residents to city hall to cheer on Canada in their final 2022 World Cup game.

All are welcome to watch Canada take on Morocco on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. in the City Hall Rotunda. City hall is located at 70 Collier St. Seating will be available, and no registration is required.

To celebrate Canada’s men’s team playing in the World Cup for only the second time in history, the Look Company has graciously provided the city with banners that include the official FIFA 22 artwork. Banners have been installed on the exterior flagpoles at city hall and floor-standing banners have been installed in the City Hall Rotunda.

The Look Company was selected as a regional supporter of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, in an agreement covering North and Central America. The company supplied all the pageantry in Qatar.
