Huronia West OPP are investigating a single-vehicle collision Friday in Clearview that took the life of a Collingwood teen.
At 8:45 p.m., officers, local fire, and paramedics responded to of a crash on 33-34 Sideroad Nottawasaga. At the scene, a 17-year-old male driver from Collingwood was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, another male, a 17-year-old from Collingwood was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
33-34 Sideroad Nottawasaga was closed from Concession 6 North to Fairgrounds Road North as the investigation continued, but was reopened after the crash was cleared Saturday morning.
Anyone with information to help investigators is asked to contact the OPP.
