Witnesses sought after skateboarder and pickup truck collision in Collingwood

OPP say the pickup truck did not remain at the scene

Collingwood OPP are looking for witnesses following a fail-to-remain collision involving a skateboarder and a pickup truck on Monday.

The incident happened around 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Pine Street and Third Street in Collingwood.

Police say the male skateboarder was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

According to OPP, the pickup truck, possibly a black-coloured Chevrolet Silverado, did not remain at the scene, and was last seen heading eastbound on Third Street.

Officers say they believe the involved vehicle may have damage to the passenger side fender or doors.
