Have questions for your local leaders about their response to the COVID-19 pandemic? Get ready to log on.

Community representatives from organizations around the region will host a virtual community town hall on Thursday, January 21 at 7 p.m., and everyone is invited to attend.

Leaders from Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, City of Barrie, Canadian Mental Health Association, and Barrie Police Service will be on the call. Members of the public can join in to learn more about the community response to COVID-19, as well as vaccination rollout, how to keep yourself and family safe during the ongoing pandemic, and what mental health resources are available to you.

Those wishing to participate on a smart device should first download the Microsoft Teams app before clicking the meeting link. Users can watch through a computer or laptop web browser via the meeting link, just click on “watch on web instead” and then click “join anonymously.”

A recording of the live-streamed event will be made available through Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre’s YouTube channel following the presentation.
