The City of Barrie hosts special Youth Arts Drop-Ins every month allowing kids to learn artistic skills, history, and most importantly, having a ton of fun while doing it.
Septembers workshop was held at Lampman Lane Community Centre and was led by Sean George who took the kids on a journey through the world of street art. The workshop allowed them to express their creative side and learn how artists use our everyday environment to craft unique and memorable pieces of art.
Upcoming drop-ins include Octobers stop-motion workshop at Dorian Parker Centre, Novembers ukulele workshop at Music Pro, and Decembers fiber art workshop at Creative Bean. Did we mention all these events are completely free?
