One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Oro-Medonte early Thursday.
OPP said the crash happened at Highway 12 and Stagecoach Road around 5 a.m.
One driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre.
The deceased has been identified as 66-year-old Irene Ciesielski of Tay Township.
Highway 12 is closed in both directions between Line 12 and Moonstone Road for the police investigation.
