Crystal Sands Catering providing lunch to frontline workers in Springwater

Residents can donate lunch to essential workers

A Springwater business is doing what it can to feed frontline workers. Crystal Sands Catering, with the support of Snow Valley Ski Resort, is stepping up to provide lunches to support frontline workers in Springwater Township who continue to work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Owners Peter and Lisa Hanney want to say thank you to those working day in and day out to ensure the safety of everyone in the community – from the firefighters and paramedics to the caregiver at Sara Vista Long Term Care, to the grocery clerks at Foodland and the volunteers at the Elmvale Food Bank.

“We love this community, we love the people in it and we want to do what we can to give back during this challenging time,” says Peter Hanney.

Residents can help Crystals Sands Catering out by making a $15 donation, which will help provide a delicious meal for a frontline or essential worker.

Anyone who wishes to donate can include a message of encouragement to frontline workers.
