A Harley Davidson rider in Collingwood is at the centre of an OPP investigation regarding dangerous driving observed Thursday morning.

Just after 9.a.m. an officer from Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP was patrolling the area of Beachwood Road where a black Harley Davidson motorcycle was noticed speeding.

The officer attempted a traffic stop, but the rider failed to stop, and continues to disobey stop signs and pass vehicles dangerously.

OPP say the investigation remains ongoing, and ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident or was travelling in the area of Beachwood Road, Fairgrounds Road, or 33/34 Sideroad around 9:00 a.m. on Thursday to contact police.

Investigators are focused on any dash cam footage that may assist in gathering evidence related to the erratic driving behaviour in the incident.
