I bet Dean McDermott wished we could permanently delete things from the internet after he announced he and his wife, Tori Spelling, were splitting up.
On Friday, he announced on social media that after 17 years together, he and Spelling were separating.
He deleted the post several hours later, and now a source says they are staying together.
His original message read "It's with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own,"
"We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time,"
Not long after, outlets started citing sources, saying the two are still together and continue to work on their relationship.
One source told US Weekly "Tori and Dean have been better than ever in recent months."
"They've had their ups and downs like any couple but have continued working on their marriage through couple's counselling. They love each other and are not going to split."
Rumours of the couple's relationship have been the subject of much gossip. In 2013, news broke about McDermott's infidelity, but the couple stayed together and worked it out.
They have been in front of the camera for much of their relationship, with shows such as Tori & Dean: Inn Love, Tori & Dean" Home Sweet Hollywood, and Tori & Dean Cabin Fever.
The two have spoken publicly about their struggles and their drive to make their relationship work.
