It's May the 4th and that means Star Wars fans all over the world are celebrating the beloved property by playing games, watching movies, and enjoying content set in the Star Wars Universe. If you've already seen everything Star Wars has to offer there's good news: A special R2D2 episode on How Not To Draw Shorts and a brand-new series are hitting Disney+ today, just in time for Star Wars Day.

That's right A BRAND-NEW SERIES! The highly anticipated new animated series Star Wars: Tales of the Empire is a six-episode journey into the fearsome Galactic Empire through the eyes of two warriors on divergent paths, set during different eras. After losing everything, young Morgan Elsbeth navigates the expanding Imperial world toward a path of vengeance, while former Jedi Barriss Offee does what she must to survive a rapidly changing galaxy. The choices they make will define their destinies.
But if you're a sucker for the classics, you can still catch them on the streaming platform! And don't forget that you can still go out and celebrate with your friends at one of the many local businesses hosting events in the area.
