Disney releases 4 new pieces of content for Star Wars Day

The force is strong today!

It’s May the 4th and that means Star Wars fans all over the world are celebrating the beloved property by playing games, watching movies, and enjoying content set in the Star Wars Universe. If you’ve already seen everything Star Wars has to offer there’s good news: Three shorts and a brand-new series are hitting Disney+ today, just in time for Star Wars Day.

First up, there are two new “fly-through” shorts taking you through iconic ships (The Millennium Falcon and an Imperial Star Destroyer) and unique biomes like Hoth and Tatooine. The other short is a crossover event that sees Star Wars characters invade the world of the Simpsons and stars Maggie Simpson.

Finally, the highly anticipated new animated series The Bad Batch sees its first episode hit the streaming platform today and reviews are already pretty stellar. It follows a squad of clones (first introduced in the animated series The Clone Wars) who must adapt in the aftermath of Order 66.

Will you be checking out all the new content or spinning up your old favourites? Happy Star Wars Day and May the 4th be with you!
