Driver charged in September 10 fail to remain crash in Tiny Township

Bicycle rider suffered serious injuries

A 65 year old man from north Simcoe County has been charged in connection with a car-vs-cyclist collision in Tiny Township on September 10 that left the rider from Wasaga Beach with serious injuries.

The collision happened on County 6 south of Wyevale just before 9 p.m.

On Saturday, police said a man from the northern part of Simcoe County attended the Southern Georgian Bay OPP detachment and spoke with officers in regards to the collision. At the time, investigators said they were satisfied the driver and vehicle involved in the crash had been identified.

Charges against the suspect include fail to remain, fail to report an accident and careless driving.
