Driver, passenger charged after police say they found a passenger hanging out of the window of a car in Bradford

Looks like the passenger was trying to record a video of his stunt

A driver is facing charges after it appears his buddy was trying to go viral.

A South Simcoe Police officer was on patrol in Bradford Sunday morning, when they spied a passing vehicle with a man hanging out the rear passenger window. The officer says the guy had one hand on the roof and a cell phone in the other. It appears he was trying to record a video.

The vehicle was pulled over near the intersection of Holland Street and Simcoe Road where police say they discovered the passenger hanging out the window was intoxicated.

The man at the wheel, a 25-year-old from Richmond Hill, was charged with careless driving. The passenger, a 29-year-old from Toronto, faces seatbelt-related charges.
