Multiple drug charges laid by police after disturbance at Orillia business

Ontario Provincial Police have laid four drug-related charges against a 42-year-old North Bay man after they responded to a call about a disturbance around 8 a.m. Wednesday at a business on Memorial Avenue.

According to police, officers seized fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine, Canadian cash, a cellphone and a digital scale.

The suspect was also charged with resisting police and failing to comply with a probation order.

A second person, a 34-year-Orillia man, was charged with obstructing and resisting police and mischief.

Both were held for a bail hearing.
