Two people face charges after a robbery at the Duckworth Plaza on Saturday, with police saying an employee was injured.
Officers responded to a report of a robbery at the plaza at 6:00 p.m.
"Police spoke with an employee of the store that had been robbed and injured during the incident," Barrie police officials said in a release. "After tending to the victim, police viewed video surveillance which assisted responding officers with descriptions of the suspects who were wanted for this occurrence."
According to officers, in just under 25 minutes, they located the suspects, a 22-year-old Barrie man and a 16-year-old male of no fixed address.
They were taken into custody and sent to Barrie Police Headquarters where the investigation continued.

They were then jointly charged with:
- Robbery with a Weapon
- Assault with a Weapon
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
The 16-year-old, who cannot be identified in accordance with provisions contained in the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA), was also charged with failing to comply with a release order from an incident last Thursday.
Both were remanded into custody and are scheduled to appear today for bail hearings.
