The Ontario Ministry of Transportation’s (MTO) contractor for the Dunlop Street bridge replacement project will require overnight closures of Dunlop Street West from Cedar Pointe Drive to Hart Drive for three nights starting Tuesday, May 5. The closures will take place from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. to allow crews to carry out construction activities. The southbound and northbound Highway 400 off-ramps at Dunlop will also be closed during construction.
Detour routes will be in place, directing traffic via Anne Street, Edgehill Drive, Ferndale Drive, and Tiffin Street. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and follow posted signage.
This work is part of the Ontario Ministry of Transportation’s ongoing Highway 400 project, which includes constructing a new, expanded bridge crossing at Dunlop Street over Highway 400 and widening the interchange to support future expansion of Highway 400.
