Police say 73-year-old suffered life-altering injuries

A cyclist suffered life-altering injuries following a collision in Tiny Township.

Ontario Provincial Police say the 73-year-old man was involved in a collision with a car at the Trans-Canada Trail on Concession 9 near Simcoe County Road 6 at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday. The cyclist was transported to a local hospital and subsequently airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital with serious injuries.

Police say the investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been laid.
