Several media reports say a Toronto police officer was fatally shot.
Peel police say two people were shot in Mississauga.
The suspect vehicle is described as a black jeep Cherokee with licence plate # CLMZ 905.
The suspect is described as a black man with a thin build and black hair who was wearing all black with a yellow construction vest.
Halton police say they are probing a double shooting at a plaza in Milton, and confirmed they are looking for the same vehicle linked to the shooting in Mississauga.
