TikTok has given us some insane challenges in the past, but none as sinister as this one: avoiding entertainment on a flight.

The latest trend has travellers "raw dogging" their flights by avoiding screens and books and even refraining from going to the bathroom.

@krizztalks You gotta want it bad! #viral #funny #relatable #emirates #flight #travel ♬ i was only temporary 2 u - my head is empty

Some zone out to the map on the screen before them, while others avoid that too.

It's a throwback to the early days of commercial air travel, when there were no inflight movies, but back then, people at least brought a book to pass the time.

Some who completed this challenge say it actually becomes enjoyable, comparing it to meditation, and it's now their preferred way to travel.

I can see trying this on a short flight, but anything more than 2 hours, and I'll be scrolling the onboard entertainment in no time.
