This creative genius will have some explaining to do to a judge.
A motorist must have an artwork set at home because the person is accused of trying to make their own licence plate validation sticker with a magic marker. The driver was stopped Monday afternoon on Highway 11 by Huntsville OPP.
“This dirty plate cover and a black marker were not enough to trick the keen eye of a Huntsville OPP officer this (Monday) afternoon on Hwy 11. Turns out the driver was also suspended… so they are headed to Court,” tweeted the officer.

If you are caught driving with an expired plate sticker, you are subject to a $110 fine.
If you are convicted of driving while your licence is suspended for a Highway Traffic Act offence, you could face fines in the thousands of dollars and possibly spend up to six months in jail.
