A driver was given impaired driving charges by OPP after a single-vehicle collision in Essa Township Wednesday afternoon.
Just after 2 p.m., Nottawasaga OPP responded to a report of a crash in the area of Mill Street. Upon arrival, officers found the driver had struck a pole in a parking lot.
When police interacted with the driver, they determined he was impaired by drugs and subsequently arrested him.
The 28-year-old man of Essa was booked on one charge of operation while impaired.
He will appear in court in Bradford in early September.
