Electric Vehicle converter company Ettractive to move into Oro Station Auto Park

Automotive complex on track to open in 2023

The Oro Station automotive complex in Oro-Medonte hasn’t even opened yet, but will soon have some high-tech tenants ready to move in.

Ettracive, an automotive hardware and software development company specializing in EV and autonomous technology, has announced it will be expanding operations to Oro Station’s automotive innovation campus on Line 7. The company says it will use the added space to focus on reducing costs and emissions for drivers.

Oro Station will provide a location for Ettracive to build and convert performance and classic vehicles to election power. The company will also develop vehicle dynamics for on-track performance.

“Expanding our footprint to be on site at Oro Station is an easy decision for us. The team at Ettractive are car people and motorsports fans, so having this opportunity to be on-site at an incredible new venue was a must for us,” said Pat Troy, Co-Founder of Ettractive. “We are very excited to become part of the business community that the Oro Station team is cultivating.”

The Oro Station Automotive Park, first proposed in 2017, is slated to open in 2023. The facility is expected to feature 500,000 square feet of industrial space. It promises to be a home for automotive research, education, development, and engineering and will feature a full motor circuit when completed.
