While most major filming schedules have been halted for the past few months, a new film from creator Sam Levinson has been announced in a surprise reveal.
The film, titled Malcolm & Marie will star Zendaya (The Greatest Showman, Spider-Man: Homecoming) and John David Washington (BlacKkKlansman, Tenet) in a story that is being described as having echoes of Marriage Story while resonating a number of social themes the world is experiencing right now. The film was announced with a first look image from Zendaya's Twitter account.

The film's entire production was shot in only two weeks (well, 15 days, but nonetheless impressive) and the team was clear that they put every social distancing and safety measure in place they could. With the film only having wrapped shooting a week ago though, there is still no release date.
