Take Back the Night - September 17

Join us at Take Back the Night 2026!

Take Back the Night, hosted through Athena’s Counselling & Advocacy Centre, is a protest and rally that demands an end to sexual assault and gender-based violence by connecting with the community and by marching through the streets of downtown Barrie to make clear that this ongoing crisis of violence is unacceptable. The event will begin at 6pm at the Rotunda in Barrie City Hall, followed by speeches at 6:30 and a march at 7pm.
