Wags + Drags: Hanks Haven Hoedown

Hank’s Haven Rescue Foundation is inviting the community to pull on their cowboy boots, add a little glitter and enjoy an unforgettable evening at Wags & Drags: Hank’s Hoedown on Friday, September 18, 2026.

Taking place from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Barrie & District Association of REALTORS®, the country-themed fundraiser will bring together fabulous drag performances by the Haus of Devereaux, music from a DJ, dancing, rescue dogs, hors d’oeuvres and raffles featuring more than $1,000 in prizes.

Hank’s Haven Rescue Foundation is a registered charity operated entirely by volunteers. The organization relies on donations and fundraising events to care for dogs in foster homes, support dogs with medical and behavioural needs and prepare them for adoption. It also provides lifelong sanctuary care for dogs whose needs make traditional adoption unsuitable.

Guests are encouraged to embrace the Hank’s Hoedown dress code with cowboy boots, cowboy hats, western wear and, most importantly, plenty of glitter.
