The City of Barrie is reminding residents that this Saturday, May 31, 2025, will be the final day for extended depot hours at the landfill (8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.), and free disposal of brush and yard waste.
As part of the response to the late March ice storm, the City offered extended depot hours at the landfill every Saturday to support cleanup efforts. The City also waived disposal fees for residential brush and yard waste to help residents manage storm debris.
