Family Day is a provincial holiday. As such, federal government offices are open and it’s business as usual at Canada Post.

  • Kozlov Centre – stores with outdoor access may be open

  • Canada Post delivery is business as usual; pharmacies that operate post offices and choose to close on Family Day will be inaccessible; stand-alone Post Offices will be open for business

GARBAGE COLLECTION

  • Simcoe County – regular waste collection day for areas serviced by Simcoe County (it’s a regular garbage and organics collection week)
  • Barrie – NO waste collection; collection will be a day late this week
  • Orillia – NO waste collection; collection will be a day late this week

PUBLIC TRANSIT

  • Barrie Sunday schedule
  • Bradford No service
  • Colltrans Regular Colltrans service; Collingwood/Blue Mountains link will be running as usual
  • Clearview No service
  • Midland/Penetanguishene No service
  • Orillia No service
  • Simcoe County Linx No service with the exception of the Collingwood/Wasaga Beach link (7 am – 8:25 pm)
  • GO Transit Saturday schedule, including train service between Barrie and Toronto
