Fifteen more people recovered as Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit increases case count by five

No new lives lost across Simcoe or Muskoka

Another fifteen people have recovered from COVID-19 in the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit’s (SMDHU) coverage area, while only five cases have been added to the regional caseload.

The SMDHU COVID-19 caseload now stands at 441, and of those, 324 people have recovered. That represents 73 percent of all cases.

The SMDHU was able to confirm no lives lost since yesterday’s update, as the Simcoe-Muskoka death toll remains at 36.
