Fire at an abandoned home in Barrie on Saturday believed to have been intentionally set

Three teenage males were seen in the area of the home

A fire at an abandoned home in south Barrie is believed to have been intentionally set.

Firefighters called out to the blaze at 405 Essa Road near Ferndale Drive South around three on Saturday afternoon. The fire got its origin in one of the rooms of the home.

Barrie Police said three teenage males were seen in the area of the home, walking their bicycles around 2:30 p.m. Police are asking residents in the area to check their home security footage to see if they have any footage of three males as police are looking to speak with them.
