Yellow police tape was strung outside a magic mushroom shop in downtown Barrie following a fire that Deputy Chief Eric MacFadden told Barrie 360 is being treated as suspicious.
MacFadden said one firefighter suffered a minor injury and was taken to the hosptial for treatment.
The fire was called in around 4 a.m. Tuesday at a building on Dunlop Street at Bayfield Street, which is home to a take-out eatery on the lower level and a magic mushroom shop called Shroomyz on the upper level.
MacFadden said the extent of damage is unknown, though the blaze was put out quickly.
On April 23, a fire at Shroomyz, where they were then located on Dunlop Street West at Mary Street, was treated as arson.

Police released surveillance video of a person on the Mary Street side of the shop and said an incendiary device or substance was thrown inside the building. The surveillance video shows flames shooting out of the shop.
Earlier this month, police closed a two magic mushroom shops on Dunlop Street - Microzoomez and Shroomyz.
During a search warrant executed at one of the shops, police said it resulted in the seizure of a number of illegal products, as well as the removal of signage, and several drug-related charges were laid.
