TVO Kids Push 2 Buttons Campaign!
BFES, the Office of the Fire Marshal and TVOKids are teaming up to encourage everyone to test their smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms. Kids can visit tvokids.com to enter the number of alarms they’ve tested in the interactive counter.

Thursday, October 11    
Win a Free Domino’s Pizza!
6 – 8 p.m.
Dinner is on us – if your alarms are working! BFES has partnered with Domino’s Pizza to deliver select pizza orders and make sure residents have functioning smoke and CO alarms.  If the alarms are present and working, the pizza is FREE! Order a pizza during the month of October for a BONUS chance to win $100 Domino’s gift card.

Friday, October 12
Coffee with a Firefighter
McDonald’s, 446 Bayfield St. | 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Enjoy a FREE small coffee and get to know your local firefighters.

Saturday, October 13
Home Depot Fire Safety Day
10 Barrie View Dr. | 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
A fire truck will be on display while firefighters and Georgian College students work with kids on a fire safety craft.  Participants must register on-site, as space is limited. There will also be a kitchen fire burn demonstration outside at 12 p.m.

Om addition, Barrie Firefighters and their colleagues in Cornwall have teamed up on another Fire Prevention music video…a parody of ‘I Gotta Feeling’ by the Black Eyed Peas.
