There were no injuries after a fire broke out in the kitchen area of a unit in a three-storey apartment building on Little Avenue in Barrie.
A fire department spokesperson told Barrie 360 that crews were called late Wednesday afternoon about a blaze on the second floor. The spokesperson said the fire was contained to the one apartment.
Two people who were in the apartment got out safely.
There is no damage total available.
