Four people isolated at Pines long term care home in Bracebridge test negative for COVID-19

Tests pending on a fifth resident who just started showing symptoms

Some good news out of a Bracebridge long-term care facility.

On Tuesday, officials at the Pines reported four residents began showing mild raspatory symptoms and were separated from the rest of the home out of precaution. Today, the facility announced tests on the four have come bag negative for not only COVID-19 but also influenza.

The Pines reports a fifth resident has begun showing the same mild symptoms and has also been moved into an isolated area specially prepared in the home. Tests on this resident are pending.
