Long Time Severn Resident David Beckett is hosting a Fine Art Show, showcasing prints and originals from his "From Sea To Sky" series.
David Beckett began this particular series of sky and sea paintings three years ago in an effort to create a new and different approach to his work. "I have found that what is above the horizon is full of opportunities for my paintings. His works in oil and pastel are included in government, corporate, and private collections both at home and abroad. Elected by his peers, Beckett is a signature member of the world wide organization Pastel Society of America (PSA) and Pastel Artists Canada (PAC).
The art show will take place at his heritage log home starting on September 27th and the first 50 visitors will receive a free print of his "Georgian Bay" piece. Visitors will also be entered into the door prize draw for a "By Still Waters" print from his Algonquin collection.
